Service · Commercial Roofing

The biggest part of what we do, and the reason we still do it.

Most of our work is commercial reroofing and new commercial construction. Distribution centers, schools, fire stations, hospitals, food plants, financial offices, churches. We size the system to the building, not the other way around.

Section 01 · Systems

Five systems. The right one is the one that fits the deck.

01 · TPO · PVC · EPDM

Single-Ply Membrane

The workhorse for low-slope commercial. We mechanically attach, fully adhere, or ballast depending on building, deck, and exposure. Most of our distribution and food-plant work runs on a single-ply system.

02 · Mod-Bit

Modified Bitumen

Multi-ply asphalt-based system, torched or self-adhered. The right answer where the existing roof, geometry, or warranty package calls for it.

03 · BUR

Built-Up Roofing

Hot-applied, fully redundant, time-tested. We still build BUR where a building owner wants the longest-running system on the market.

04 · Steel · Aluminum

Standing Seam Metal

For pitched roofs and architectural exposures. We fabricate panels in-house and on-site for civic, religious, and historical work.

05 · Silicone · Acrylic

Coatings and Restoration

When the existing membrane has years left and the budget calls for it, we coat instead of tear off. Recover, re-warranty, and keep the building in service.

Systems we install

What actually goes on the deck.

Section 02 · Process

A short, written, four-step process.

We have run the same process for 57 years because it works for the building owners we work for. The roof goes on. The paperwork is in order. We leave the site clean.

01

Site Walk

An estimator and a foreman come to the building. Roof access, drainage, decking, mechanical penetrations, history. Notes on a clipboard, not a sales pitch.

02

Written Proposal

On paper, line by line. System selected, fasteners, insulation R-value, flashings, warranty term, schedule, exclusions. Nothing buried in a footnote.

03

Crew on the Roof

Foreman runs the crew, works to a daily plan, meets the client at the start of the day. Photo log every shift. Daily yard-trip if material is short.

04

Walk-Through and Warranty

We walk the finished roof with the building owner. Manufacturer paperwork goes into the envelope. Maintenance plan goes into the same envelope. Then we leave.

A Note on Warranties

Fifteen to thirty year manufacturer’s workmanship warranties on low-slope new and reroof projects. One to two year personal weather-tightness warranties on most other new and reroof work. The paperwork is in the envelope, every time.
